Students at Surendranath Law College protest against steep fine for insufficient attendance

A "steep fine" that Surendranath Law College has levied on students across three semesters for insufficient attendance sparked a row on Wednesday with many protesting outside the college since morning and outside Calcutta University main campus on College Street in the evening.
