Teachers' Day 2018: All you need to know about Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

Teachers’ Day is celebrated on September 5 every year since 1962 to honour Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as it is his birth anniversary. He was born in a Telugu-speaking family and received his surname from his forefathers who were from Sarvepalli village in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.
