Bangalore University to have only Saraswati statue, not Buddha's

The Karnataka State Higher Education Council on Monday decided not to allow installation of Buddha's statue at Bangalore University's Jnanabharathi campus, spiking the syndicate's decision to place it next to the statue of Goddess Saraswati.
