CBSE Class X: More pass, more score higher in Mumbai

In a U-turn from the upward trend of the past few years, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X results announced on Wednesday had fewer high scorers. Of the 18.7 lakh students who appeared for the exams, 1.8 lakh scored above 90% and 41,804 above 95%—an 18.1% and 27% dip, respectively, from the previous year.
