Majority states favour holding Class 12 board exams, to study options proposed by CBSE

Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Sunday said that his ministry has sought detailed suggestions from state governments till May 25 regarding Class 12 board exams. The majority of the states are in favour of conducting the exams and will examine two options given by the CBSE. Maharashtra said the “non-examination route” for Class 12 should also be actively examined.
