West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2022: 86.6% pass despite 2 years of pandemic scars

As many as 86.6% examinees passed the Madhyamik examination this year, in results declared on Friday. But the true meaning of this achievement - while only a shade higher than the 86.3% of 2020 - can only be understood in perspective. What the cold numbers do not indicate is that the slight decimal-point rise in this year's results came despite two years of Covid disruptions.
