JEE Main 2023: Bombay High Court to pass verdict on 75 percent eligibility plea today

The Bombay High Court will deliver its verdict on a petition challenging the 75% eligibility criteria for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The petition contends that the criteria is not a fair reflection of a student's abilities. The case was first taken up on March 1, 2023, and after several hearings, the court will issue its final ruling. The 75% eligibility rule was put in place in 2017-18 and was temporarily suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic. The National Testing Agency has already conducted JEE Main twice and is set to conduct JEE (Advanced) 2023 in June.
