Punjab schools to reopen tomorrow, govt. issues instructions

The Government of Punjab has announced that schools in the state will reopen on July 17, following closure due to a flood-like situation from July 11 to 16, 2023. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has ordered authorities to ensure that schools in coordination with various departments are safe. However, if any school or locality is flooded or damaged, the respective district's Deputy Commissioners can declare a holiday only in those schools.
