Work education instructors in Chandigarh, engaged under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, ended their fast unto death after receiving assurances from ACS Rajesh Khullar. Four instructors, including a woman, had been fasting since Sunday to demand inclusion in service bylaws and equal pay. Khullar, authorized by the government, assured full support and accepted their demands.
