Pfizer has launched the Pfizer Autonomous Team (PAT) program in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to provide higher education opportunities for girl students from rural areas. The program offers a three-year course in chemistry, during which students gain practical experience at the Pfizer plant in Visakhapatnam. They receive a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000 and are absorbed into the organization after completing the first six months of the program.
