Bihar B.Ed Appointment: Patna HC rules B.Ed degree holders not eligible for primary school teaching jobs

The Patna High Court has ruled that B.Ed degree holders are not eligible for primary school teaching jobs in Bihar. Only individuals with a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) will be appointed as primary school teachers. The court quashed the National Council of Teacher Education's notification that allowed B.Ed degree holders to be eligible.
